PVKKIT - Admission Procedure

About Admission Procedure:

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering colleges in the state through common entrance tests (EAPCET / ECET / PGECET / ICET / POLYCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAPCET 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.

• M.Tech - Digital Electronics and Communication Systems: B.E / B. Tech in ECE branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam AP PGECET.

• M.Tech - VLSI Design: B.E / B. Tech in ECE branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the test centrance exam AP PGECET.

• M.Tech – Computer Science and Engineering: B.E / B. Tech in CSE / IT branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam AP PGECET.

• M.Tech – Electrical Power Systems: B.E / B. Tech in EEE branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam AP PGECET.

• M. Tech - Structural Engineering: B. E / B. Tech in Civil Engg. / Construction Engg. branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam AP PGECET.

• M. Tech - CAD / CAM: B. E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engg. branch of Engineering with valid GATE score / based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam AP PGECET.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the MBA is a pass in undergraduate course (10 + 2 + 3/4) 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the ICET 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the MCA is a pass in undergraduate course (10 + 2 + 3/4) 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the ICET 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of Polytechnic (Diploma) course is a pass in the SSC conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent. 100 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the POLYCET Conducted by AP State Government and there is no Management quota.
