Biography

Mrs. K. JAYALAKSHMI is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department (HOD) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at PVKKIT Polytechnic College, Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh, India.

She obtained her Master's Degree from KV Subba Reddy Engineering College for Women, Kurnool, and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gates Institute of Technology, Gooty, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA), Andhra Pradesh, India.

In pursuit of advanced research and academic excellence, she registered for her Ph.D. program at Mohan Babu University during the academic year 2025 and is actively engaged in research in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

To strengthen her technical expertise and keep pace with emerging technologies, she successfully completed the AICTE Quality Improvement Program (QIP) Postgraduate Course in Drone Technology at Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kurnool. She has also earned certifications through SWAYAM-NPTEL in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Deep Learning, and Data Science for Engineers.

With 11 years of teaching experience in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, she has made significant contributions to academic instruction, student mentoring, curriculum development, and departmental administration. Her research interests include renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, drone technology, artificial intelligence applications, Industrial IoT, and sustainable energy solutions.

Recently, she participated in and presented a research paper titled "A Comprehensive Study on Self-Charging Electric Vehicles Using Renewable Energy and Regenerative Systems" at the 2nd International Conference. She actively participates in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, seminars, webinars, and research-oriented activities to continuously enhance her teaching effectiveness and research capabilities.

Her dedication to academic excellence, professional development, innovative teaching methodologies, and research contributes significantly to the advancement of engineering education and the overall growth of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering discipline.
