Dr. C. Manjunath is a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Applications at PVKK Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rayalaseema University, with research focused on image compression and image processing. He has over 17 years of academic and industry experience in higher education and technology-driven environments. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Blockchain, and Cyber Security. He has published research papers in Scopus, Web of Science, and ESCI-indexed journals and has presented research at national and international conferences.
He has successfully guided numerous M.Tech, MCA, B.Tech, and M.Sc. Computer Science student projects. He has contributed to research through patents, research proposals, academic publications, and interdisciplinary innovation initiatives. He has served in various academic leadership roles, including HOD, Board of Studies Chairman, Dean–R&D Cell In-charge, NBA Coordinator, and examination coordinator. He has also worked as a Consultant DevOps Engineer at Capgemini Technologies, gaining valuable industry experience in Microsoft Azure, DevOps, API Management, and cloud automation.
Dr. Manjunath is actively engaged in teaching, research, faculty development, academic administration, and industry–academia collaboration.
